INFO NEW LOGO: since April 2022, a new simplified logo has been stamped on Berkey® tanks. This is in line with the manufacturer's desire to simplify the brand. The new models have been introduced randomly into current stock.

The Crown Berkey® water filter is the largest in the range and is perfectly suited to large families, communities, offices, hospitals, outdoor group activities, and unexpected emergencies.

This Crown Berkey® system comes with 2 Black Berkey® purification elements as standard but can accommodate up to 8 filter elements.

Fully equipped, this system can provide 600 people with water per day in emergency situations.

Simply pour water into the system's upper tank and easily dispense pure water using the lower tank's tap.

The volume of each model refers to the capacity of the lower tank. The upper tank is smaller because of the volume of the filters (approximately 1 litre per pair). As a result, the advertised volume corresponds to the quantity of filtered water that can be stored in the lower tank. Find out more...

The equipment is guaranteed for 2 years (excluding consumables such as butterfly nuts, seals, plastic valves, etc.).
Filters are guaranteed for 2 years with a proportional discount every 6 months.

As many PF-2™ filters as Black Berkey™ filters should be fitted. PF-2 filters are screwed onto the Black Berkey® filters on the lower tank side. There is therefore no need for additional holes. The water is filtered first by the Black Berkey® and then by the PF-2

    How long can I keep and consume the water filtered by my Berkey® purifier?

    We recommend replacing your water filtered by your Berkey® system after three days if it has not been consumed. If the water is in a cold environment, this period can be extended to one week. This is a precautionary principle. The reason is that when you filter your water, the chemicals that inhibit bacterial growth are removed. In very humid environments, bacterial growth can occur more quickly.
