1-Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with article L221-18 of the Consumer Code, the buyer has a period of fourteen working days from the delivery of the order to exercise their right of withdrawal and return the product to Berkey France Millenium SAS for a refund. The buyer is responsible for returning the package at their own expense. All returns are under the buyer's responsibility. After verification by our return services, a refund will be made, less the return handling fees amounting to:
- 10 euros for orders within mainland France. (5 euros for accessory orders not exceeding 195 euros)
- 15 euros for international deliveries.

The return must be made in the original packaging, with care and identical protections, without undue delay, within a maximum period of 14 days following the return agreement by Berkey France Millenium SAS. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Special case: for a package in transit, a withdrawal request with package refusal will incur additional return costs normally borne by the customer, equivalent to the initial delivery price, with a minimum of 10 euros.

The seller declines all responsibility for the proper routing of the return package, meaning any package lost by the carrier during the return cannot be charged to the seller. It is highly recommended to insure the package for the value of the order.

WARNING, due to the increase in counterfeit Black Berkey® filters sold by fake resellers or marketplaces, the following rules have been established in agreement with the manufacturer:
- No withdrawal will be accepted for a box of filters purchased alone.
- In the case of a withdrawal for a complete system, the return will be refused if the Black Berkey® filter box has been opened (tape cut or torn).
Any proven attempt at fraud in the case of a product return will be subject to legal action.

Your request must be made in writing by email to mail Berkey France Millenium indicating your Name, First Name, order number, and date, and explicitly stating to Berkey France Millenium SAS your right of withdrawal, for example using the following model:

"Madam, Sir,
On (date), I placed an order with you by (phone, mail, Internet) and took delivery of it on (date).
In accordance with article L. 221-18 of the Consumer Code, I inform you that I wish to exercise my right of withdrawal regarding this order and will return it to you within the next fourteen days according to the terms you specify.
(If you have paid a deposit or the full amount of the order) Please refund me the sum of (…) euros that I paid by (credit card, etc.).
Thank you, and I ask you to accept, Madam, Sir, the expression of my best regards.
(Signature)"

Berkey France Millenium SAS specifies that under article L221.28, this right of withdrawal cannot be exercised on goods that have been unsealed by the consumer after delivery and cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection. Please note that products in this category that have been unsealed and/or used cannot be refunded.

2-Product Exchange

We do not exchange products. If you made a mistake when ordering or simply do not wish to use a received product, you can request a return within 14 days of receiving your order, under the same conditions as the right of withdrawal.

3-Partial Return

In case of a partial return of an order, no handling fees will be retained if the returned product does not represent the main part of the order.

4-Damaged Product

Upon receiving their order, it is the responsibility of each customer to inspect its contents to ensure product conformity. If a product is damaged (scratched or dented chamber, broken filter, damaged tap...), you must contact customer service within 48 hours to be able to replace the item, in accordance with the warranty. All replacements are sent to an address in the same country as the original order. If the product is sent to another country, shipping costs will be charged to the customer.

5-Package Damaged by Carrier

The buyer is required to check, in the presence of the carrier, the condition of the packaging of the goods and their contents upon delivery.
WARNING: without unpacking the package in front of the carrier, the mention "subject to unpacking" has no legal value. Therefore, no dispute can be taken into account after the carrier's departure.

- If the package is delivered damaged, the buyer must open it in front of the carrier to note the damage to the products, and also make reservations by noting the damage on the delivery note before signing.
- If all the contents are damaged, the buyer must refuse the package by mentioning the nature of each damage on the delivery note.
- If only one accessory is damaged, it must be mentioned on the delivery note. The buyer must photograph the observed damage and immediately contact our customer service.
- If a product is missing due to the package being opened before delivery, the buyer must mention the missing items on the delivery note before signing.

6-Incomplete Package or Product Error

For incorrect or incomplete orders, please contact Berkey France Millenium SAS within 48 hours of receipt to inform them of the missing or incorrectly received parts. Items sent by mistake must be returned to Berkey France Millenium SAS using the return label sent by email. Berkey France Millenium SAS will send the missing products as soon as possible.

7-Warranty Claim

Shipments of products following a warranty agreement are free of charge. Berkey France Millenium SAS is an authorized Berkey® center, so the buyer will never have to make a warranty claim with the American manufacturer.

Some issues you encounter may be the result of incorrect installation. Therefore, before any conclusion, it is necessary to discuss with our customer service. You will need to detail the observed issues as precisely as possible. Based on this information, customer service will determine the best procedure to implement.

8-Order Cancellation

If you change your mind and wish to cancel your order before it has left the premises of Berkey France Millenium SAS, simply send us an email to mail Berkey France Millenium to inform us of your wish to be refunded. We will proceed with an immediate refund of your order.

9-Cancellation or Refusal Due to Delivery Delay

The company Berkey® France Millenium is not responsible for delivery times. Communications made by carriers after taking charge of the package in our logistics center are under the responsibility of said carriers. Any delay or rescheduling of delivery communicated by the carrier cannot be attributed to Berkey® France Millenium.
No delivery time is guaranteed, except for Chrono 13 express delivery.
Unless the delay is beyond a reasonable time, any cancellation request or refusal of delivery for delay, which would result in the return of the package to our warehouse, will be refunded less all actual preparation and transport costs related to the said order.
